Shipments for the first ten months of the year up 179 per cent in volume

Peruvian mango exports grew 52 per cent in value and 179 per cent in volume between January and October 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Data from Fresh Fruit Peru shows that a total of 282,199 tonnes of mangoes worth US$399.5mn were shipped in the first ten months of the year.

Fresh mango made up 55 per cent of the exported value, while frozen mango accounted for 38 per cent, and the remaining 7 per cent was other presentations including as dehydrated mango, pulp, and purée.

The higher availability pushed export prices below the levels seen at the beginning of 2024 due to increased availability in the international market, falling by 46 per cent on average across the ten months.

The US consolidated its position as the main buyer of Peruvian mangoes, taking 36 per cent of total shipments, equivalent to 102,900 tonnes worth US$145.1mn. The Netherlands ranked second, with US$78.3mn (20 per cent) and 72,800 tonnes, followed by Spain with US$27.5mn (7 per cent). Canada, South Korea, and the UK also saw an increase in the volume and value of imports.
