Spanish export consortium Proexport is aiming to promote the best of the region of Murcia’s fruits and vegetables to German consumers at this year’s Fruit Logistica exhibition in Berlin with the help of German actress Esther Schweins.

The celebrity, who is the face of Proexport and Hortyfruta’s ‘We Care, You Enjoy’ promotional campaign, will visit Proexport’s stand at the trade fair on 9 February to highlight an initiative that aims to reach shoppers across Europe.

Proexport and Hortyfruta will also reveal greater details of the campaign to representatives from some of Europe’s leading grocery retail chains at a separate event on 8 February to be attended by Murcian agriculture minister Antonio Cerdá.

Some 20 of Proexport’s associated companies will be taking part in Fruit Logistica 2012, between 8-10 February in Berlin.
