French salad specialist Bonduelle has reported on what it has described as 'remarkable' growth in turnover for the first half of its fiscal 2014/15 year, which ran from July to December 2014.
The group noted that turnover climbed 5.5 per cent on a like-for-like basis to top the €1bn mark for the first time, up 3.1 per cent on reported figures despite the impact of adverse currency movements.
The second quarter alone saw an acceleration of growth of 5.9 per cent (like-for-like) and 3.4 per cent respectively.
In Europe, turnover stood at €639.4m, an increase of 1.1 per cent for the first half of FY 2014/15 and representing 63 per cent of the group's turnover.
Meanwhile, in the Non-Europe Zone, turnover came in at €379.4m up 13.7 per cent.
