TSW 15 2025 Poland conference panel session

TSW 2026, The 16th Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair, will take place on 23-24 January 2026 in Kielce, Poland.

TSW is the largest horticultural event in Poland and considered one of the most important in Central Europe.

Every year, TSW attracts growers, researchers, advisors and business professionals from across Europe, and for this year’s edition will, for the first time, be held on Friday and Saturday – making it easier for both exhibitors and visitors to participate.

“TSW is more than an exhibition,” said organiser Oikos. “It is a meeting place for science, innovation, and business. The 2026 edition will include six major conferences covering key areas of horticulture.”

The conferences in question are the XVI Fruit-Grower Conference; the XII Strawberry Conference; the IV Berry Conference, covering raspberries and currants; the XVI Vegetable Conference; the III ‘Under Cover’ Conference on innovations and challenges in protected cultivation; and the II ‘Viticulture’ Conference, focused on the development of Polish winemaking.

During the Under Cover Conference, experts such as Dr Dorota Łabanowska-Bury, Dr Beata Komorowska and Tomasz Krasowski will discuss plant protection, greenhouse diseases, and the growing role of vertical farming and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). The event will highlight sustainable methods of vegetable production and strategies to reduce pesticide residues.

The Viticulture Conference, led by Professor Magdalena Kapłan from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, will bring together specialists from Poland and the Czech Republic. Topics will include grapevine diseases, modern training systems, and yield management in changing climate conditions.

A new feature of TSW 2026 is the Fruit Grower of the Year 2025 competition, open to Polish fruit farms recognised for quality, innovation, and sustainable management. Winners will present their achievements during the fair, “gaining valuable visibility in the industry”, Oikos noted.

More conferences will be included, with the organiser announcing further details soon.

“TSW 2026 brings together knowledge, practice, and opportunity – a place where experts, growers, and companies shape the future of horticulture in Poland and Europe,” it added.
