False coriander

The US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) is advising the US public that it has prepared a pest risk analysis which evaluates the risks associated with the import into the continental US of fresh false coriander from Panama.

Based on that analysis, APHIS believes that the application of one or more designated phytosanitary measures will be sufficient to mitigate the risks of introducing or disseminating plant pests or noxious weeds via the import of the herb.

APHIS is making the pest risk analysis available to the public for review and comment. Consideration will be given to all comments received on or before April 12.
