Apple brand will travel to Bournemouth, Yorkshire and Bath as part of a summer sampling tour while a new mascot launch will promote Jazz Snackers mini apples
Apple brand Jazz will be promoted via a summer sampling tour with the first stop at celebrity chef Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park festival last month.
Over 40,000 slices of Jazz apples were handed out to guests along with the Jazz apple recipe book, created with the help of brand ambassador and GB track and field athlete Jasmine Sawyers. Held in mid May in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Pub in the Park welcomed over 30,000 visitors as well as cookery demos from the likes of Yotam Ottolenghi and Prue Leith.
Further stops on the tour include the British Heart Foundation’s Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim (5 July), where Jazz will be the main sponsor for the fifth year running.
The brand will also be at the The Great Yorkshire Show on 7-11 July, the Big Feastival on 22-24 August and will end at the Foodies Festival in Bath on 29-31 August.
The tour comes alongside a new brand mascot to coincide with the smaller-sized Jazz Snackers. In packs of 6, Snackers are described as perfect for kids and snacking moments.
Worldwide Fruit commercial director Hannah McIlfatrick said: “It was fantastic to take the Jazz Apple brand on the road last year with our bespoke sampling vehicle and we’re delighted to have another busy event schedule this summer to further drive penetration and awareness in targeted areas.
“We learnt last year from our events that some people still hadn’t tried a Jazz Apple so it’s important we use the events to change this and reach new audiences. We feel the mix of events and locations this year will provide the perfect platform for us to do this. The events help build off the success the brand has already achieved.”
