The Forum of Executive Women annually honours the top public companies in the Philadelphia region with 30 per cent or more women on their respective boards.

It marks the first time that AgroFresh has been recognised as a Champion of Board Diversity.

“We’re honoured to receive this important distinction as a reflection of our continued work to enhance diversity and promote inclusion across our global workforce,” said Nance Dicciani, chair of the AgroFresh board of directors.

“Every day our teams are faced with solving complex issues, and we believe an inclusive culture and diverse perspectives are critical to developing innovative solutions.”

AgroFresh said that it was committed to diversity and inclusion, as outlined in its recent Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report.

The company’s commitments include a focus on contributing to the improving representation of gender and racial/ethnic diversity in global agriculture by strengthening the diversity in its global workforce.

AgroFresh said it does this through targeted recruitment efforts and partnering with industry groups and organisations that are focused on improving diversity at all levels in the agriculture industry.

The Forum of Executive Women’s annual Women in Leadership Report, which will be released later in October and is a collaboration with PwC, provides an annual examination on diversity in the boardrooms and executive suites of the top 100 public companies in the Philadelphia region.
