The annual list, now in its 15th year, serves as a definitive guide to the top companies making significant contributions to sustainable innovation.

The Global Cleantech 100 is a comprehensive showcase of the most promising private companies in the cleantech ecosystem, The highlighting the innovators with outstanding technologies, original business models and bold plans that enable us to act on climate and environmental issues.

“These innovative companies are driving positive change and are at the forefront of enabling the global transition to a more sustainable future,” said Richard Youngman, CEO, Cleantech Group. “The Global Cleantech 100 is a recognition of the market’s positive view on their progress to date and their potential impact in building a cleaner, decarbonised world.”

BeeHero utilises low-cost IoT sensors to effectively measure and manage bee pollination activity and strength.

The data collected by the sensors is analysed by the company’s proprietary AI algorithms, generating insights for beekeepers and growers that support real-time decisions to ensure healthier bee colonies, successful pollination, and increased crop yield.

In 2023, BeeHero managed over 200,000 hives, with its sensors collecting over 10m hive samples daily.

The company was also recognised by CNBC on its 2023 Disruptor 50 list and released its Pollination Insight Platform in-field sensing solution to measure pollinator activity and improve yields in seed, row, and specialty crops.

“The fusion of building a genuine business, gaining significant traction, and making a positive impact is what fuels the enthusiasm of the BeeHero team,” said Omer Davidi, CEO and co-founder of BeeHero. “By providing unprecedented, data-based transparency into the process of pollination, we’re helping to advance sustainable agriculture and safeguard the future of global food security.

”We look forward to continuing to innovate to further the sustainability goals of beekeepers, growers, and agriculture industry stakeholders across the globe.”
