Emirates SkyCargo, the freight arm of Emirates airline from Dubai, has been named Best Airline to the Middle East for the 23rd year in a row at the Cargo Airline of the Year awards in the UK.
Ram Menen, Emirates' divisional senior vice-president of cargo, also received a Lifetime Achievement award.
'Receiving the Lifetime Achievement award is something that I share with our entire Emirates SkyCargo team whose hard work and commitment make all of our success possible,' said Menen.
The awards are organised by trade magazine Air Cargo News.
In Canada, meanwhile, the airline was named Best Carrier Middle East for a second consecutive year at Central Region Forwarders Choice Awards gala, organised by the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association.
