Dole Food Company has been named as one of the world's most ethical companies for the second year in a row by Ethisphere Magazine, a US think-tank dedicated to the research and promotion of profitable best practice in global governance, business ethics, compliance and corporate responsibility.
"It is an honour to once again receive this designation," said David DeLorenzo, the group's president and chief executive officer. With revenues last year of US$6.9bn, Dole is the world's largest producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and fresh-cut flowers.
