US traceability and food safety experts are to present a seminar in Lima, Peru.
Ed Treacy of the Produce Marketing Association, and Dan Vaché and Robert Guenther of United Fresh will cover issues including the impact of the Produce Traceability Initiative and the food safety requirements of supermarkets and buyers, particularly in respect of the Food Safety Modernization Act.
The event has been organised by AGAP and PromPeru, and is supported by bodies including APEM, IPEH, ProCitrus, PeruProHass, ProVid, the Peruvian Consulate, and the Peruvian Asparagus Importers Association.
It takes place in San Isidro, Lima, on 22 January.
