A new container service route connecting Liverpool Produce Terminal with Rotterdam, the only direct connection between the two ports, has been announced by X-Press Container Line.
Starting on 16 March, the ISX service will start the new service, which has a fixed day weekly schedule of Rotterdam, Liverpool (Royal Seafrorth), Dublin (Portroe).
'X-Press already runs a dedicated service between Southampton, Ireland and Scotland (Greenock), and so this new routing will serve to further enhance our network and the options available to main line operators and shippers alike,' said X-Press Container Line trade manager Paul-James Sawyer.
