The Evénement Fruits et Légumes 2010 is set to take place on 12-14 January in Angers, France, in conjunction with agricultural exposition Sival.
The event includes a number of conferences and workshops, with a particular focus on addressing some of the main problems currently affecting the sector in France.
The Végétable Forum will grapple with the issue of price, including the consumer's view of the price of fruit and vegetables.
Meanwhile, French interprofessional organisation Interfel, together with FranceAgriMer and Aneefel, will offer a discussion on the present and future situation of the country's agricultural exports.
According to Interfel's Daniel Soares, the discussion will include a look at the competitiveness of the sector, international negotiations and the role of different institutions in France and in Europe.
