The Organic Salad Company (TOSC) has announced that Matthew Godfroy will replace the outgoing Azra Secerbegovic as the UK-based group's managing director, effective from 1 October 2008.
Ms Secerbegovic, who has been with parent group Eosta BV since 2001 and was instrumental in the formation of The Organic Salad Company in 2004, will remain with the Rhea Group (Eosta Holding) until the end of December 2008.
'Azra Secerbegovic was instrumental in creating strategic partnerships with TOSC and Eosta suppliers. Various joint ventures were created in Bulgaria, Israel, the Netherlands and Spain,' a company statement said.
The Organic Salad Company serves major UK retailers with locally and internationally sourced organic salad products, and has been awarded several prizes for its innovative products – including second place at this year's Fruit Logistica in Berlin for its Ugurke wild cucumber.
