Second-tier cooperative receives MujerAgro certification as a Pro-equality company
Anecoop has signed up to MujerAgro’s Pro-equality certification scheme, which recognises good practices promoting equality in the agri-food sector.
The company said the certification is an endorsement of the work carried out through its Equality Plan, which sets specific objectives to guarantee equal treatment at the workplace, as well as strategies and measures to achieve them.
The cooperative has an Equal Opportunities Plan for Men and Women, which includes specific measures to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities among its workforce. This plan establishes a framework for action in key areas such as selection and promotion, equal pay, training, work-life balance, and the prevention of gender-based harassment or discrimination.
Anecoop has just registered its 2nd Equality Plan with Spain’s Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, thus reinforcing its strategic commitment to effective equality within the organisation.
The Pro-equality MujerAgro certificate is part of a project promoted by Siete Agromarketing and eComercio Agrario, which highlights and recognises companies, cooperatives, and institutions in the agri-food sector that implement good practices to achieve true equality.
With Anecoop’s inclusion, more than 20 entities have now earned this distinction, which enjoys both national and international recognition.
