The Belgian importer has revealed that Ann Celen will replace the outgoing Bert Barmans as chief executive officer of the company
Belgium’s Special Fruit has announced that Ann Celen will become the new CEO of the company, following Bert Barman’s decision to leave.
Celen has years of experience in the food industry, having worked previously for the likes of Chiquita, Capespan and Unilever.
“Ann brings a wealth of experience in the food industry,” the company stated. “She has fulfilled roles in general management, sales and marketing, both in Belgium and internationally, for organisations such as Milcobel, Mondelez, Chiquita, Capespan and Unilever.
“Ann brings drive and commitment to further professionalise Special Fruit and prepare the organisation for a successful future.”
