Spreafico to exclusively market Del Monte products in Central and Northern Italy and Sardinia

Del Monte Italia and Spreafico have announced a strategic partnership whereby Spreafico will lead the commercial development of Del Monte branded products in the Italian market.

Under the agreement, Spreafico and Del Monte will create a collaboration that combines their respective strengths: vertical sector expertise, distribution network and commercial capabilities on the one hand, and the strength of a consolidated brand and leadership in the production of superior quality tropical fruit on the other, the two companies said.

Spreafico will be the exclusive marketing partner for Del Monte products across all distribution channels in Central and Northern Italy and Sardinia.

“Thanks to the group’s platforms and its extensive and consolidated sales network, it will enhance one of the most recognised brands in the fruit and vegetable sector,” the companies said. “Del Monte will guarantee the high quality of its own-branded product lines, both tropical and non-tropical, sourced from globally integrated supply chains.”
