Florida-based importer Fresh-Veg has launched a new logo and is working on a new marketing strategy and execution, according to a press release from the company.

To help devise its new marketing initiative, Fresh-Veg has teamed up with TFM International, a fellow Florida firm which specialises in produce advertising, communications and business development.

“I am very excited about working with Fresh-Veg and helping them expand Fresh-Veg’s marketing programs,” explained Mark Vertrees, owner and president of TFM.

Fresh-Veg is a family-owned broker and grower representative which specialises in year-round sales of squash, tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers and all Mexican fruits and vegetables that cross Nogales, Arizona, and McAllen, Texas.

“Our long-term goal at Fresh-Veg is to represent quality growers and sell their products under our own certified produce label,” noted Eliseo Trujillo owner and president of Fresh-Veg.

“We created the new Fresh-Veg logo with that goal in mind and plan on building new Fresh-Veg marketing programs emphasizing our field-to-fork strategy.”

Trujillo’s son, Ely Trujillo, who is based in Las Vegas, added that the company is currently looking for new Fresh-Veg grower partners that share the firm’s certified produce vision.

“I created the brand with the long-term goal of extending the brand to other quality vegetable growers around the country,” he explained.

“All Fresh-Veg and Certified Produce products are GAP, GMP and HACCP certified.”

Fresh-Veg was established in 1991 and now offices in Florida, Nevada, Arizona and South Carolina.
