Giga also returns with series of Superman-related promotional activities timed for release of blockbuster summer movie

Italian marketer Vog has expanded its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, after its snack-size RedPop apples secured a marketing tie-in with this summer’s DC Studios film release, Supergirl.
Last year, another of the company’s apple brands, Giga, featured in promotional materials to support the new Superman film.
And with that Superman-Giga axis also set to return in 2026, the expanded campaign will underline the differences between Giga, a large apple marketed as ideal for sharing, and the small, sweet variety sold as RedPop.
“We are delighted to confirm the partnership between Giga and Superman again this year and to welcome RedPop to the world of DC Studios for the first time, alongside Supergirl,” commented Hannes Tauber, Vog marketing manager.
“Our campaigns are designed to be engaging and innovative, which is why we chose to join forces with two beloved heroes: not only do they confirm the disruptive spirit of our initiatives, but they also highlight the unmistakable characteristics of our products: the might and generosity of Giga and the lively and rebellious sweetness of RedPop.”
For both partnerships, marketing activities are planned for the summer period in selected European markets, with dedicated initiatives in the retail sector and in consumer contexts.
The partnerships involve the use of selected assets, developed with a coordinated approach, linked to Superman and Supergirl, including the famous S-Shield, which will appear on stickers and materials connected to Giga and RedPop products.
Vog’s aim, Tauber added, is to create distinctive visibility consistent with the DC universe, putting its stamp on a summer packed with flavour and adventure.
