Apple brand set to feature iconic S-Shield in supermarkets and cinemans as new DC Studios film hits big screen
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a Giga apple, landing in supermarkets and cinemas for a Superman film tie-in.
This summer, Italian marketer Vog has teamed up with the Global Consumer Products arm of Warner Bros Discovery to promote the goodness of Giga-branded fruit alongside the heroic strength of Superman, who returns in the eponymous, highly anticipated DC Studios film on 9 July.
As a result, Giga apples will feature in an exciting multi-channel campaign across Europe, adorned with specially designed labels that bear the iconic Superman S-Shield.
The campaign is also set to present consumers with dedicated retail displays and promotional activities in-store, as well as themed sampling events and installations that will run in cinemas and retail points of sale.
Hannes Tauber, marketing director at Vog, said the company was “thrilled” to join forces with the world-famous superhero and preparing to bring joy to consumers across Europe.
“Giga invites you to share good news and rediscover the pleasure of real connections,” he commented. “Like Superman, this grandiose apple has an imposing appearance, but at the same time has an innate generosity of taste and aromas that brings people together. He added: “Through this campaign, we’re excited to create memorable experiences for consumers, whether in store or at the cinema, and invite them to discover the bold flavour of Giga.”
