Adam Rumack

The California Strawberry Commission has announced that it has hired Adam Rumack to fill the position of marketing manager, to focus on expanding the international and domestic markets for California strawberries.

Mr Rumack, who will report to marketing vice-president Chris Christian, joins the agency from ANZU Technologies, where he conducted research and managed international business opportunities.

'Adam has a good combination of business education and international business experience,' said Mr Christian. 'We believe this new addition to the marketing team better positions us for improving international retail and foodservice market demand, trade relations, and further success for the organisation.'

The California Strawberry Commission is a state government agency that represents an industry of more than 500 growers and 60 shippers and processors of California strawberries, focusing on food safety education, production and nutrition research, trade relations, public policy and marketing communications.
