Steve Tursi, produce merchandising manager at Wal-Mart, is to leave the retailer on 1 July to become Seald Sweet’s vice-president of new business development.
Mr Tursi, who is in charge of 11 buyers in the vegetable and value-added categories, has 22 years experience in the industry.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart he was a buyer for American Stores.
