US-headquartered Vanguard International has announced it has engaged the services of Dawn Gray Global Consulting.
Gray has 38 years of experience in the fresh produce industry, working with leading growers, marketers, and retailers including
Turners and Growers, BC Hot House Foods, Central California Orange Growers Coop and Sunkist Growers
“We have known and worked with Dawn for over 20 years, and have always found her to be exceptionally energetic, knowledgeable, and thoughtful,” said Craig Stauffer, Vanguard’s chief executive.
Earlier this month, Vanguard announced it has received a strategic investment from Blue Road Capital, a New York-based investment fund focused on the agriculture sector. As part of the investment, a newly formed entity – The Vanguard International Group– has been created to acquire the business operations of Vanguard International.
Vanguard is a leading fresh fruit and vegetable marketing and sales organisations headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, with branch offices in Santiago, Chile; Shanghai, China; Taipei, Taiwan; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Guy Kisling, Vanguard’s CFO/CAO, said the company was looking forward to growing its global footprint with Gray’s services.
“Having worked with her in the past, we are confident that she can add value to our team in many ways,” Kisling said.
