Global shipping line APL has added new ports of call to its Mediterranean services, giving shippers in North Asia better access to markets in Europe.
Durres in Albania and Thessaloniki in Greece have been added to the Mediterranean Express 1 (MX1) service, while Novorossiysk in the Russian Black Sea and Poti in Georgia have been added to the Mediterranean Express 2 (MX2) service.
The MX1 service calls intoQingdao, Busan, Yangshan, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, Yantian, Singapore and Malta, while the MX2 service calls into Qingdao, Yangshan, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore and Piraeu.
The Singapore-headquartered shipping line was acquired by French shipping business CMA CGM as part of its takeover of NOL Group.
