Chief executive officer of Hort Innovation, John Lloyd, will be stepping down from his role in the new financial year.
“For the last eight and a half years it’s been my privilege to lead the Research and Development Coordination for horticulture in Australia,” he said.
Lloyd joined the organisation in 2009 as Horticulture Australia Limited and has led the business successfully through their transition to Hort Innovation in 2014.
“Everything we do in horticulture allows people to live happier, healthier, longer and more productive lives. This has been reflected in the tremendous growth of the sector over the past 10 years.”
The Board will continue to receive his support throughout the succession process before Lloyd moves on to pursue new opportunities.
