European fruit exporter HL Hall International, one of the largest avocado producers in South Africa, has opened a new office in Marseille's wholesale market.
The new Marseille site boasts a newly renovated 1000m2 warehouse and will be headed up by Jean de Villiers, who has been appointed sales manager.
He said: 'This development consolidates our position, allowing us to bring Halls’ trademark quality and service to this key part of the French territory and the neighbouring Mediterranean countries.'
Paul Devlin, managing director of Halls International concluded: 'This is a significant step forward, allowing us to service both our customers and global grower partners more effectively throughout the European market.'
