Obst Partner Steiermark (Opst), the apple producer organisation, has officially taken up residence at a new headquarters near Wollsdorf in the south-east Austrian region of Styria.
The new premises, located just up the road from the organisation's previous head office inGleisdorf, is also the home of apple export association Eva Handels, organic apple supplier Von Herzen Biobauern österreich and the topfruit and stonefruit divisions of Styria's Department of Agriculture.
Eva Handels was previously located just around the cornerin Sankt Ruprecht an der Raab, close to Gleisdorf and Graz.
Opst, which also produces pears and plums, has enjoyed considerable success over the past few years with its frisch-saftig-steierish (fresh-juicy-Styrian) apple campaign, which promotes sales of the region's apples in Austria itself as well as several export markets like Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Russia, North Africa, south-east Europe and eastern Europe.
