Israeli group Agrexco has begun exporting its Easy Peeler citrus range, with the Suntina variety the latest to be shipped this week (beginning 24 November).

This will be followed by the first shipments of the Mineola variety next week, the group said.

Agrexco added that it is anticipating an increase in exports of 20 per cent from the previous season, with volumes continuing to be shipped through to May 2009.

'Almost every country has its preferences and we try to cater for them all,' said Golda Ezuz, manager of Agrexco's citrus department.
