The export season has just got underway for Israeli exporter Agrexco’s organic on-the-vine tomato, sold under its Carmel Bio-Top brand.
Grown mainly in the Arava region, but also in west Nagev and north of the Dead Sea, the company’s tomato varieties include Ikram, Jolie, Soffi and Noa.
Agrexco points to its tomatoes’ quality and safety standards, in addition to the health benefits of tomatoes in general, thanks to their high content of vitamin C, vitamin A and the antioxidant lycopene.
