FRESH2010

Representatives from leading Russian fresh produce companies Nevskaya and RGS will look closely at the emerging trends in the Russian fresh fruit and vegetable market at FRESH, Europe’s leading fresh fruit and vegetable conference, held in St Petersburg, Russia for the first time on 13-15 April 2010.

With the final day for delegates to make an exclusive 20 per cent saving on registration fees fast approaching, this year’s programme, which focuses on exciting changes underfoot in the Russian market, will be of major importance to everyone involved in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector.

Organised by Eurofruit Magazine and Freshfel Europe, FRESH’s location at the Corinthia Hotel, the new five-star business and conference hotel on St Petersburg’s famous Nevsky Prospect, is central to the action.

Speakers Boris Planer of Planet Retail, Oleg Rogozin of Bavaria and Dmitriy Sharikov of OKEY will open the conference, focusing on new opportunities in the Russian fresh produce sector as incomes continue to grow and more produce continues to be sold through major supermarkets.

Keeping a close eye on Russia’s emergence as a supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables, meanwhile, FRESH will conclude with key industry insiders Bruno de Canson of Dow AgroSciences, Alberto Volpano of the EU Embassy, Andriy Yarmak of Fruit-Inform and Tatiana Crooijmans of Rabobank offering delegates a wealth of advice over how best to better their business prospects in the country.

By registering online at www.freshcongress.com by 12 March 2010, delegates can make savings of more than 20 per cent on their registration fee.

Freshfel Europe members also benefit from a preferential rate to attend FRESH2010.
