South Africa apples quality check

In South Africa, the Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB) is joining forces with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to launch the Bi-Annual Africa Products Standards Workshop.

The conference event, which takes place on 20-22 April 2010 at The Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West, Cape Town, focuses on developing African countries' knowledge and expertise of the fresh produce standards required to trade with major international markets.

Leading international experts from the European Union and the UK will join PPECB product specialists to provide a platform for discussion on a variety of products, with delegates including exporters and traders from across 20 different African nations.
