Maersk Line Oceania has announced the appointment of My Therese Blank as the company’s new Australia sales director and country manager.

Blank replaces Anthony Randell, who will commence his new role as Damco Asia’s chief commercial officer in mid July.

Blank has experience in sales, capacity management and marketing across a number of Maersk Line organisations in her native Sweden and the Asia-Pacific region. This includes several senior roles within Maersk Line’s New Zealand operation, including key account manager for logistics provider Kotahi, one of Maersk’s largest global accounts.

“My Therese will play a valuable role as we continue to build on our service offerings for Australia, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands, and work closely with local customers and supply chain partners to deliver improved efficiencies throughout the entire supply chain,” said Maersk Line Oceania managing director, Gerard Morrison.
