Valencia stores feature live cooking demonstration of paella made with PGI orange juice by local chef Raúl Magraner
The Valencian Citrus PGI took centre stage in the latest edition of premium retailer El Corte Inglés’s Seasonal Flavours KM0 campaign, which runs in stores in the Valencian Community until the end of November.

To mark the start of the new citrus season, stores located in the three Valencian provinces will be offering Paella with orange juice made from fruit supplied by Frutas Torres bearing the PGI quality seal in their cafes and GastroMercats.
The recipe was created by chef Raúl Magraner, from the Bonaire restaurant in El Palmar. This week he will be giving demonstrations in stores in Valencia, Castellón, and Alicante, while various influencers from the province will be visiting the Gastromercat at El Corte Inglés to taste and review paella made with Valencian oranges.
José Enrique Sanza, who manages the PGI, said: “Actions like this bring Valencian citrus fruits closer to consumers in a different and appealing way, showcasing their versatility in the kitchen.
“Consumers are increasingly looking for products with a proven identity and quality. And that is what the PGI Valencian Citrus seal represents: origin, traceability, and excellence. These types of initiatives help us strengthen the recognition of our citrus fruits and support the sector at the start of the season.”
