Italian table grape specialist Giacovelli continues to promote its new product Snappy Snacks, which it says offers crunchy, seedless grapes that are perfect for on-the-go snacking.

Developed in partnership with Milan-based agency Never Before, the colourful concept builds on the company’s previous Yummy Snacks grape and cherry line, and is designed to provide a healthy, convenient, sustainable and delicious snack option that perfectly matches modern lifestyles across all generations.

“Snappy Snacks is a revolutionary product that’s changing the way we snack on grapes,” says Anna Giacovelli, the Puglia-based group’s business development manager, who sees a number of important trends in the grape market. These include increased demand for healthy snacking, premiumisation of varieties, continued growth in the popularity of seedless types, and sustainable packaging.

“We have seen quite some evolutions in consumer buying behaviours, so we longed to give them a quick-to-go but delicious-to-have 400g portion of grapes – colourful enough to catch the eye, with a broad choice of their favourite varieties.”

And as consumers seek more natural and organic products, Italy has a great opportunity to meet that demand, with 60 per cent of its production focused on seedless varieties.

“Snappy Snacks fits perfectly into these trends, offering a premium, healthy, and convenient snacking option,” Giacovelli suggests. “The product is made with love in Italy and is available in recyclable packaging, making it an attractive choice for environmentally conscious consumers.”

Having established an eye-catching colour scheme to differentiate its white, red, and black grapes, in 2025 it launched a series of special Candy editions, – featuring Bloom Fresh’s Cotton Candy, Candy Snaps and Candy Crunch varieties – for some of its clients.

This year, the product is expected to be sold not only in Italy but also primarily in export markets like Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. The brand will also continue to innovate and expand its product range, exploring new flavours and fruits, and entering new markets.

As for promotion plans, Snappy Snacks is set to target health-conscious consumers, fitness enthusiasts, and busy professionals looking for a quick snack. And it is also looking into the possibility of using social media, influencer partnerships, and in-store promotions to increase awareness and drive sales.

“The European snack market is experiencing a significant shift towards healthier and more sustainable options,” Giacovelli adds. “We believe Snappy Snacks is the coolest solution. Get onboard with us for your 2026 grape season!”
