International Cargo Logistics (ICL) has launched its fifth UK office in Felixstowe
Global freight solutions provider, International Cargo Logistics (ICL), has launched a new branch in Felixstowe, East Suffolk.
The launch is hoped to strengthen the company’s UK presence and mark a continuation of its growth trajectory.
The office will be located conveniently near the port of Felixstowe, the country’s largest container port which handles 48 per cent of the UK’s containerised freight.
Felixstowe is closer than any other port to the main shipping lanes and is ideally placed as a gateway to Europe and Asia.
The new office will be led by Joe Walsh, a logistics professional with over 20 years’ industry experience.
Walsh has previously held roles in branch management, overseeing transport operations alongside warehouse and customs clearance services.
The office will also be the company’s fifth office in the UK, alongside overseas operations in the Netherlands and Vietnam.
ICL hopes the new office will emulate the success of its Bristol and Manchester officers that opened two years ago.

Currently operating in over 200 countries, ICL offers air, sea and road freight services, alongside warehouse and fulfilment, customer clearance and specialist temperature-controlled storage solutions.
