Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) has announced that it has overhauled the personnel at its NYK Group Americas division, with a series of changes to its board of directors.
Effective 1 April 2010, current president and CEO of NYK Group Americas Inc. (NGA) Tony Nozaki will return to Japan as executive vice-president of Kinkai Yusen Logistics, to be replaced by Yasayuki Unsui.
Elsewhere, Peter Keller will retire and become a senior advisor to the board of NGA, while Yoshio Watanabe will return to Japan as general manager of the Harbor-Overseas Group.
Patrick Burgoyne will become president and CEO of Yusen Terminals Inc., and Kazuhiro Kamoi will take over as president of NYK International (USA) Inc., the group said.
