A large assortment of Rijk Zwaan's fresh produce varieties are set to go on show this month, with the launch of the Dutch group's demo days held in Fijnaart.
According to the group, there will be a number of innovative new products on show between the 19 September and 28 October, including a series of new spinach varieties that stand out with dark and firm leaves, as well as extensive resistance patterns.
In addition, Rijk Zwaan noted that there would be a number of new iceberg lettuce varieties, as well as a focus on the Salanova range.
The demo days also include a number of additional activities, such as a fertilisation trial for iceberg lettuce and a high-density trial with Salanova, cos and endive varieties.
Visitors will also be able to see a new outdoor hydro system, while a number of horticultural suppliers will be present on 6-7 October with information stands and product demonstrations.
