Ernst Schulte, the former Unilever man who replaced Stephan Weist as managing director of Chiquita Deutschland back in 2009, is to leave the company, it has been confirmed.
Schulte, who is also currently Chiquita’s business director for Germany and Austria, apparently decided in June 2014 not to renew his contract.
He is set to take on “new challenges” and will resume his previous consultancy work, the statement said.
Schulte joined Chiquita from Unilever Germany in an interim capacity at the start of 2009 and was previously buying director of Unilever Foods as well as business director of German firm Food Marken.
