Logistics group CH Robinson Worldwide has announced that Jeroen Eijsink has joined the company as the new president of its European arm, CH Robinson Europe BV.
“Jeroen is a focused and proven collaborative leader who brings extensive European transportation expertise and significant leadership experience to his new role with CH Robinson,” said John Wiehoff, president and CEO at CH Robinson.
Since 1993, the company has offered road transport and freight forwarding services via a network of offices throughout Europe.
Over the past three years, the company has accelerated growth in the European region by adding 18 offices, for a total of 52, and doubled headcount to over 1,000 customer-focused employees.

Previously Eijsink served as CEO of DHL Freight Germany where he was responsible for the road and rail transport activities for DHL in Germany. Eijsink also served as CEO of DHL Freight Benelux and UK. Prior to joining Deutsche Post DHL, Eijsink held various management positions at Siemens in Germany.
