Suba Seeds Group, a specialty vegetable and legume seed producer, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Gallatin Valley Seeds to produce, market and sell certain pea and bean varieties in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Gallatin Valley Seeds is a leading breeder and producer of high quality pea, bean and sweetcorn seeds for the North American market.

Headquartered in Boise, ID, Gallatin Valley Seeds has a long history of innovation and R&D led by its owner and founder Ron Johnson, a former director of large seed vegetable sales at Syngenta, who founded the company in 2008 when he purchased the Syngenta NAFTA pea programme.

'We are excited to partner with Gallatin Valley Seeds to combine their innovative research and development initiatives in peas and beans with Suba’s European large seed vegetable production platform,' said Marcello Tumedei, CEO of Suba. “We look forward to working together to deliver industry-leading pea and bean seed offerings to new and existing customers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.”
