Israel Corp, parent company of Zim Integrated Shipping Services, has announced the departure of Zim’s president and CEO, Doron Goder.
The company stated “differences in approach relating to Zim’s plans in view of the global financial crisis” as the reason for Mr Goder’s departure. The company is anticipated to report a loss of US$200-250m for 2008.
According to reports, Zim has appointed Rafi Danieli to the post of president and CEO of the container carrier.
