Kinga Legg Vegex

A woman who was apparently murdered in a Paris hotel room earlier this week was the head of a major Polish tomato exporter which supplies a number of major retail and foodservice customers across Europe, it has emerged.

Kinga Legg, who was found dead at the Hotel Bristol on Tuesday evening, was the owner and director of Vegex, one of Poland's leading fresh tomato suppliers.

The company, which is based in Opatówek in central Poland, supplies a number of food retailers, including Tesco, Carrefour, ICA and Morrisons, as well fast food restaurant operator McDonald's.

Police were today looking for a British millionaire who is thought to have fled the hotel and who is understood to have been staying with Ms Legg.
