Agrexco has commenced its pepper export season, offering a range ofCarmel-branded varieties to European markets including the Ever GreenPepper, which is described as having a far sweeter taste and anon-altering green colour.
The pepper range is drawn fromproducers across Israel from a variety of climatic conditions, allowingthe group to supply peppers continuously throughout the export season.
'Besidespremium quality reflected in their appearance, nutrition benefits andenticing, rich flavours, Carmel peppers are sturdy and have proventhemselves resilient to seafreight, carrying a promise for longshelf-life,' the group said in a press release.
Playing aparticularly important role in Agrexco's pepper offering is packaging,which is said to fit in with the group's environmental policy, displaythe product in a colourful manner and decrease weight compared withprevious packages.
