Chiquita has launched a new container concept to protect bananas for those eating the fruit on the go.
The new ChiquiSafe container is described by the multinational as like an 'armoured truck' for the banana, ensuring that it is not bruised or squashed, while also being food safe and easy to clean.
According to Chiquita, the ChiquiSafe container is ideal for use in handbags, school bags, lunchboxes or briefcases, or wherever there is a danger that the fruit could be 'squished, squashed or smashed'.
