What has Green Best focused on during the past 12 months?

Anna Jarema-Kuźniar: The past year was a time of consistent work and stable growth for us. We established a number of valuable business relationships and better tailored our offerings to our clients’ expectations. However, we’re not resting on our laurels – we know there are still many challenges ahead. Our greatest success remains maintaining high quality and partner trust – this is the foundation on which we build further growth.

How are your key products performing?

AJ-K: Our flagship product is cauliflower, which is experiencing the greatest growth in export sales. In 2024, we exported over 5mn cauliflowers – an impressive result in itself. The current season is still in full swing, and we are confident we will surpass last year’s record.

We supply the largest portion of our products to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as Hungary, Italy, and France. Traditionally, our peppers also enjoy significant demand, although strong price pressure in Western markets has limited our ability to improve on previous years’ results.

We’ve expanded our offerings to include other vegetables, including broccoli, tomatoes and root vegetables, thus meeting seasonal demand.

What new products are you offering?

AJ-K: We strive to meet all the needs of our customers. That’s why we’re gradually expanding our offerings with new vegetables and constantly improving our packaging. These aren’t revolutionary changes, but rather a natural evolution of our offerings – step by step, in line with market expectations. Each product undergoes rigorous quality control before reaching the customer. This is our priority.

How is the uncertain global economic and geopolitical climate affecting Green Best?

AJ-K: The Polish food industry faces numerous challenges today: rising energy and raw material costs, a strengthening złoty that reduces profitability, and growing competitive pressures, including those stemming from the protection of Ukrainian imports. These are real factors that impact the market situation.

At the same time, technological advancements and the diversification of sales channels help us effectively minimise risks. Our ambition is to show our customers that, regardless of the circumstances, Green Best cauliflower is always the right choice.

We want to emphasise our full commitment – both to product quality and innovative logistics processes. We believe that our growing network of cooperating farms, combined with strategic market diversification and modern solutions, will make us not only a leader in cauliflower exports but also a role model for the entire European agri-food industry.
