Mitte Januar hat das Landwirtschaftsministerium Japans die Unterzeichnung eines Wirtschaftspartnerschaftsabkommen (EPA, Economic Partnership Agreement) bekanntgegeben, bei dem sizilianische Zitronen der Hauptdarsteller sind – genauer die „Limoni di Siracusa IGP“.
