Host of iconic Disney characters will feature on packaging throughout the 2026 campaign

Spain’s biggest strawberry supplier, Fresón de Palos, has debuted its new Disney packaging for the 2026 campaign. Characters such as Stitch, Simba, Peter Pan, and other classics will feature on packs throughout the season as part of the Huelva-based cooperative’s latest collaboration with the iconic film studio.
“The new packaging incorporates iconic characters that are part of the collective imagination of several generations, making fruit shopping a more attractive experience for families,” the company said.
The initiative not only aims to capture attention at the point of sale but also to encourage fruit consumption among children, making it easier for parents and children to incorporate strawberries into their daily diet.
Marketing manager Enrique Muñoz commented: “We are a mass-market brand and compete on the shelf with thousands of products. We need to differentiate ourselves, create brand recall, and offer value beyond the product itself. Disney allows us to connect emotionally without losing our focus on quality”.
Fresón de Palos’ alliance with Disney is part of a broader strategy to build brand assets, awareness, and customer loyalty, especially in key European markets. Furthermore, the new collaboration will be supported by a comprehensive campaign across digital media, retail media, and television, reinforcing visibility among both consumers and trade professionals.
