Peruvian suppplier says it recorded significant growth in shipments during 2025 as country’s export trade continues to expand

Peruvian company Beta says it sold more blueberries to foreign markets last year, as the country consolidated its position as a leading exporter of the fruit.
“At Agroindustrial Beta, during the 2025 season, we exported more than 1,897 containers of blueberries, surpassing the 1,624 containers registered in 2024,” it reported.
“This result reflects sustained growth and reaffirms the strength and competitiveness of the Peruvian agribusiness sector in international markets.”
The US remains the primary destination for Peru’s blueberries, accounting for approximately 50 per cent of exports, the company noted.
Beta has production sites around Lambayeque in northern Peru, and Ica in the south of the country.
“Through management focused on efficiency and continuous innovation, we serve the most demanding markets, reaffirming our commitment to the development of agriculture and Peru’s leadership in the global agribusiness sector,” it added.
