As the challenges of the past year continue to be felt, the Global Tomato Congress is back in Rotterdam with a programme filled with talks and discussions about how to safeguard the future of the fresh tomato business.
The theme of this year’s event is sustainability at a time of crisis – expert speakers will examine the best means of ensuring the future success of tomatoes, in the face of high costs, ToBRFV and the increasing impact of climate change.
Global Tomato Congress assesses the current state of the category, gauging the effect of high energy costs on the global business and identifying the key challenges moving forward, including labour availability and cost, growing sustainability demands and falling household budgets.
