FPJ’s Sustainability Special tackles the big questions and opportunities in climate change mitigation, supply resilience and the push for net zero
The FPJ Sustainability Special explores the latest challenges, innovations and initiatives in environmentally friendly production and sustainable supply chains.
We highlight efforts across the industry to mitigate climate change, reduce inputs, and improve supply resilience, with a focus on sustainable production, the latest sustainable technologies, and eco-friendly packaging/packaging reduction. This will include analysis of the new Extended Producer Responsibility rules.
Published by Fruitnet, the FPJ Sustainability Special will also report on the funding currently available for green intiatives amid uncertainty about what shape a reformed Sustainable Farming Incentive will take next year.
In addition, the publication will include special features on marketing and branding (with a look at what it takes to make a fruit or vegetable ‘go viral’ on social media), careers (with a focus on grad schemes in fresh produce), and Portuguese supply.
From a product perspective, there will be a category insight on root veg, as well as a special report on Florette following the leading salad brand’s recent open day.
And we delve into the key challenges and talking points for the fresh produce sector in Wales, amid controversy around farming subsidies, as well as Scotland and Ireland.
